Starting my career as a copywriter more than 15 years ago, I quickly expanded into a hybrid writing/account management role. First at what is now McCann Connected, then at a copywriting agency, working across FMCG, retail, fashion, automotive, pharma, financial services and manufacturing.
I finally made the move in-house to experience the corporate world from the inside. Quickly nicknamed ‘the machine’ for my ability to generate ideas and get them out there quickly, creatively and effectively. I stayed at Barclaycard for 4.5 years, heading up B2B content, as well as managing LinkedIn accounts for 11 senior leaders as part of my thought leadership strategy. I discovered a passion for telling small business stories and connecting up entrepreneurs in the name of innovative collaboration.
